MAHSA   DEHGHANI

The facade is a design concept for MAK Studio, situated in East-End Houston, TX. As the company prepared to transition to their new warehouse, they wanted the new exterior to mirror the unique identity they had cultivated in their old location - a wavy, ribbed wooden wall - but scaled up a hundredfold. While the design is 2D, the goal is to generate a 3D illusion for passersby, with hopes of it becoming a landmark in this warehouse district. The design will be executed by painting 40 panels, each measuring 4'x8', which will be rotated and mirrored in various directions on the facade.
