"The Evolution of Man" is an installation inspired by the eminent poet Rumi. It suggests that humanity's journey towards perfection and maturity is an ongoing process. The path to becoming an impeccable individual demands shedding known positive and negative traits and embracing unfamiliar consciousness. It's a metamorphosis into a lighter, transparent existence that beholds infinite vision and boundless knowledge - an existence that can pervade everywhere.
In line with mystical doctrines, humans are capable of transcending their physical realities and experiencing a different consciousness dimension. Humanity carries within it a spiritual component that transcends matter. There is an essence within our being that we must endeavor to discover.
The most profound battle humans face is against their own selves. We wrestle with our thoughts, identities, and the many layers that cloud our true selves, much like dust upon a mirror. Yet once these layers are cleansed, humans metamorphose into universes unto themselves. The cosmos exists within us.

My illustrations are an homage to Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi and his profound poetry. They pay tribute to a man who danced without bounds, his dance a journey from life to death, and from death to eternity.
